Dance TW Exeter News for 2022
We can't believe we are now into June 2022 and thinking about events that we can have in our second half of the year! Christmas is coming!!
We are extremely lucky to have so many new dancers this year and feel we as a dance group are so lucky to have retained all our classes since lockdown - so many classes have closed so feel blessed that we have such a great following!
In case you are wondering if class times have changed below is listed all our classes and times for you.
Pinhoe - America Hall - Wednesdays 10:30am - 12:30pm - £8
We are so lucky to have such a great hall with a purpose built half sprung dance floor for dancers to enjoy their dancing. Pinhoe is a great place to learn all those popular Sequence Dances and to also learn new ballroom and latin steps to use at your social dances.
Alphington - Ide Lane Village Hall - Thursday morning 10:30am - 12:15pm £8
We are so lucky to be able to use 2 rooms at the Village Hall
as the new Theatre is now complete. Classes for Beginners
and Intermediates will run side by side and both teachers
will take half of the group swapping over at half time after a well earned cuppa!
Newton St Cyres - Parish Hall - 2 Classes
7pm - 8pm Beginners £8
8:15pm - 9:30pm Intermediate £8
We are really looking forward to seeing everyone back at all our classes and it is advisable to let us know which class you are hoping to attend.
If you are reading this and not been to one of our classes before and want to start then contact us for more information and we can also advise that best class to suit your dance style.
What will I learn?
Ballroom & Latin Tuition
Ballroom dancing is now really popular and it is with thanks to programmes like Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars that we are getting enquiries from a lot of people wanting to learn.
Our groups see various levels of dance and this starts from the basics to Advanced couples that have taken medals in the past.
Many want to revisit what they might have learnt years ago and this is a great place to start with Dance TW Exeter.
Tina & Wendy would love the opportunity to get you dancing so please get in touch and we can advise the best class to attend depending on the level you are at.
When you join us at one of our classes we first talk to you about your dance knowledge, we do not want to change what you have learnt at other classes. Many teachers have the same techniques and dancing is generally the same wherever you go - we like to be able to give beginners the confidence to get on the floor and dance without feeling intimidated by others or worry about if they are doing the right steps etc.
We generally find that wherever you dance socially everyone wants you to get up and dance, everyone will help you as much as possible.
